CEO Kazuhiko Matsumoto, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Kazuhiko is the key architect of Ziosoft's product design. After nearly two decades as a serial entrepreneur launching successful startups, Kazuhiko brought his wealth of resources and knowledge to the field of medical imaging. Kazuhiko founded Ziosoft in August of 1998 and has managed the company as its President and Chief Executive Officer. In the intervening years, he has cultivated success in Product Planning, Business Development, Marketing, and Product Design.
Prior to founding Ziosoft, Kazuhiko was an early employee of Weathernews, which had a successful public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Kazuhiko was awarded a Masters Degree in Information and Communication Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo. His academic research included parallel database and massively parallel computer architecture- specifically the implementation of relational database systems on massively parallel machines.
COO Mark Koeniguer, Chief Operating Officer
Mark Koeniguer joined Ziosoft in 2007 and brings over 18 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience with both emerging and established companies in the healthcare industry. Most recently, he was Global Vice President of Sales for R2 Technology, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Hologic in 2006. Prior to joining R2, he held leadership positions for Stereotaxis, Inc. and GE Healthcare.
Mark Koeniguer holds a BS with a major in Finance from the University of Iowa and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
CDO Masao Yamamura, Chief Development Officer
Masao Yamamura joined Ziosoft in 2007 and brings to the position over 25 years of research and development experience on networked digital imaging systems. He has a demonstrated track record of leading products from planning to development to commercialization. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and GM at Electronics for Imaging (EFI). Prior to joining EFI, he developed workstations and printing systems for Fuji Xerox and Xerox Corporation.
Masao Yamamura holds a BS and MS in Information System Engineering from Hiroshima University, Japan.
